35 1/2 weeks appointment

I went to the Doctor yesterday! I have no news at all actually. She tried to check my cervix to see if I'm dialating, but it was still far back, and it hurt like H*LL, so she decided not to torture me, and called it quits. I have an appontment every week now until Anna shows up, so maybe there will be good news next week :) Her head is down, and she's ready...I have my very LAST ultrasound next Wednesday, so we'll get to see how much my little fatty weighs. She feels pretty big in there, and I've been measuring ahead for my dates, so I know she's either fat or tall. Or both :0 I can't wait to hold her!! And to sleep on my stomach!!

WE GOT A HOUSE!!!

We're soooo excited! We're moving November first! It's such a great place! 1538 square feet, 3 br, 2 bath..Huge rooms!! We've been on the hunt for a house for months now, and finally found one that we want to live in! YAY!! Looks like we'll be moving right after little Anna makes her debut!

Wide Awake.

Still have that darn pregnancy insomnia. Seems like I just can't stay settled in bed. I have too much on my mind! We found a house that we love, we're supposed to go by and physically check it out on Tuesday. I found it online and read all of the specs and looked at pictures, then we drove by it and peaked at the neighborhood and in the windows. It seems perfect, we're just hoping that it is. I can't wait to have a yard for little Anna even though she won't exactly be using it anytime soon. I'm praying that everything will work out for us financially right now because of deposits and the expense of moving in general, but God has never left us empty handed, so I can't pick today to stop trusting him! I'm trying not to stress too much, but being off of work for 6 weeks of UNpaid maternity leave is really starting to freak me out. I just don't want to over do it. Working is starting to get really hard on my body these days, but I can't leave early because I can't take anymore than the alotted 6 weeks--and I really want to use that time to bond with my baby girl and establish a routine before I head back to the grind. If you're reading this, then shoot God a quick prayer for us! I know he will provide the money and the patience, but sometimes my faith needs a little boost. Oh yeah, we found a church out here that we're going to check out! It's called Grace Community. It's right down the street and brand new. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my church in Katy, but with our work schedules it seems like we rarely get to go anymore (because it's an hour drive!) I love to be involved in my church, so if this one is as great as I'm hoping, then Jim and I will be less than 5 minutes from it!! So pray for that too!! I have a doctors appointment on Wednesday- she's supposed to check and see if I'm starting to dialate and efface. I hope that I am!

Pregnancy Insomnia

So..It's 5 am and guess who's all ready been awake for the past half hour? Ugh. I'm just really uncomfortable! Sleeping is so much work when you're pregnant! :) Between the swelling, the joint aches, the acid reflux, and the peeing...it's a wonder pregnant women get any sleep at all! Only a few more weeks Miss Anna, and mommy is going to evict you so she can have her body back! Sharing it isn't the bad part...it's having to carry around five pounds of human strapped to my chest that's exhausting! Anyway, I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow, my lamaze classes start on Tuesday, and I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday. After this week I have to go to the doctor once a week so she can check my cervix--I hope I'm one of the lucky ones that dilates, and not like Katie who went a week and a half after her due date!! I keep thinking that I'll be a late one, just because I'm so freaking impatient. Some days I'm okay with her being in there. I think, "she'll come when she's ready" --but then days like this, when I can't get comfortable I'm like, "GET OUT!!!" hahaha. I want to slap the people that keep telling me "Get some sleep while you can! The baby will be here soon!" Because I have barely slept since the first trimester! I have to wake up every half hour to pee! Anyway, I've been nesting like a mad woman. I pinesol-ed the walls yesterday. It's kind of ridiculous the things you find to clean when you're pregnant. I even wiped down the electrical outlets. I'm officially ready for her to come. Now if only someone would give me a winning lottery ticket.....

Update!!

I have a doctors appointment today..Almost 34 weeks! WAHOO!! I can't freaking WAIT to have this baby!! It's almost time. We had a photographer take our maternity pictures yesterday. I think they are going to be perfect--and exactly what I was looking for. We're supposed to pick them up Friday, so I'll post some then. We went to San Antonio to visit Luke, Ali, and Chris, and then to San Angelo to visit Chris and Angela over the weekend. So now we're exhausted from driving! haha. And I'm feeling more miserably pregnant than ever!! With all of the junk food we ate over the past few days I DO NOT want the doctor to weigh me. :) That's the worst part of the doctors appointment..having to watch that number go up. :)

Anna's Coming Home Outfit!!

We finally picked it out. It's this adorable little pant set that my G-ma Jackie and Grandpa got her..with some cute little booties.

What an awesome experience!! We got to see our little Anna in action!!! And to top it all off, my cousin Shannon is in labor as I write. I'm so jealous :)Here are pictures of our little girl!!!
