YAY for BLUE stuff!!

Erin's having a BOY!! She just found out today! So I get to buy PINK and BLUE stuff this year! How exciting!! :) Aw...they're going to be boyfriend and girlfriend :)

Prenatal Work Out Classes!!!

I started my prenatal workout classes at the YMCA yesterday! It's 3 days a week for 8 weeks. Monday and Saturday we do water aerobics and Monday we do Yoga. It was so much fun!! I met so many women that live around here that are pregnant! And I met a lady that is due the same day as I am, is pregnant with a girl, AND has the same OB as me! YAY. I can't wait until my next class......But I have to say, I must be out of shape because I was so tired when I got home that I just passed out!

LAST TRIMESTER!!!

Wahoo! I hit my last trimester today. It feels like the time has flown by. I don't want to speak too soon, or it'll start dragging..but I can't believe it's almost over! And we'll get to meet our little peanut! WOW. All of the party plans are in motion for my baby shower! I can't wait! I'm excited to get Anna's room together..for no reason in particular..maybe just to have something ELSE to obsess over for a while. I'm SO ready for my VACATION!! Bring it on! I can't wait!! On a side note, CONGRATULATIONS SHEILA!! My sister graduated nursing school in May and started working at a hospital about a month ago...well, she had her LAST FINAL TEST that makes her a REGISTERED NURSE this week and she PASSED!! I'm so proud of her :)

COUNT DOWN TO VACATION!!!

Wahoo!!! One week left until I get to see my mother in law and step munchkin for a whole week!! Unfortunately for them... it will involve my preggo butt in a bathing suit...hahaha. We're going to Camp Van Vac, that same place Jim went in June...It's so beautiful, I can't wait! I'm sort of nervous about leaving my destructive cats here alone, but we'll have to hire them a sitter to keep them from climbing the walls...By the way. . Kim! I got your package! My email won't let me write you for some reason- it keeps sending it back. Let me know when you see this.

Oh NO! This could be a problem....

Yep, it is exactly what it looks like...my stupid cat laying in Anna's bassinet...on top of her CLEAN clothes....I set it up to see if they would bother it, and they haven't...until I just came across this-today. Sometimes I wonder why I even wanted pets....Atleast it's not the washing machine.

The Joys of pets...

Jim and I LOVE our cats....but they are so mischevious!! If you talk to us on a regular basis, you are very aware of the weird things that these little boogers do. Case in Point. Last night I was going to throw in a load of laundry...and this is what I found....



But don't be fooled, she's not the only bad one...they're partners. Look who I found lurking not too far behind....

Thanks Grandma!!

Anna has her first piece of furniture in her nursery as of last night! My grandma got her the dresser off of my registry. I love it!! And I finally have a place to put all of her clothes! I'm starting to get REALLY excited--it's starting to look like a bedroom in here. YAY. :) Only 14 weeks left.
By the way..the outfit on the dresser is Annas coming home outfit! It's just a cute peach onesie with a matching hat and booties. A friend of mine is going to embroider her name on the hat. :)

25 1/2 Week Appointment!!

I went in and got to hear Anna's hearbeat again~! It's in the 150's. The doctor also gave me that nasty orange drink that I'll have suck down for the glucose test in a couple of weeks. GROSS. Needless to say I am NOT looking forward to it. But the good news is that after that appointment I'll be in my LAST TRIMESTER and I'll get to come every two weeks!! It's getting closer. I set my appointment for my ultrasound--it's next Tuesday. My Grandma wants to buy Anna her dresser this week so I'll have another piece of the nursery! YAY. Besides, this little girl has more clothes that Jim and I put together and I have nowhere to put them :) Work-- I've been sitting here all day writing articles. Sometimes I really like it, like when I have to cover a subject that I'm passionate about, but today I've been writing about Heavy Metal bands. haha. It's been a little hard to get into.

Money for Dummies!

So Jim and I bought this computer I don't know..two years ago?? Recently I discovered the Microsoft Money program on it and decided that now is as good a time as any to try it out so that we can project our expenses with the new baby and budget, etc.. while I'm going half crazy with boredom being pregnant.. Well anyway..It's getting on my nerves..It's too complicated for my overloaded mind. I will have to play with it some more but right now, it's driving me crazy!

Nursery Stuff!!

Stretch Marks

I'm scared of them! I don't want any and I'm trying to avoid them like the plague...but when do you get them? Should I all ready have them? What a selfish wretch I am to even be caring about something so superficial, but come on, I'm willing to donate my body...but I still want to hold on to the hopes that I might get it back one day :)

Here's to hoping I DON'T get as big as this armoire!!!

I might get to go to MN August 4-11 for the family trip to the Boundary waters!!!! I put in my request for it, and I'm crossing my fingers~!!!!!! I would love to see everyone and get a little rest and relaxation! I don't want to have to stay behind again. :( I need a vacation!

One Week shy of 6 Months!!

Here it is guys! The current belly shot. She honestly hasn't seemed to grow as much since last month, but I think it's because the doctor put me on a low sodium diet. haha

NESTING!!

I have got to be nesting, there's no other way around it! I've made poor Jim spend the day with me rearranging the furniture and going through the closets....I've also been hanging up baby clothes and washing sheets....It's hilarious...well, to me anyway...Jim probably wants to disappear! I'm feeling a little self conscious because a lot of the women on my forum all ready have their nursery's together and I have barely started Anna's. I just don't see the point in getting it all cute and perfect so that I can just sit in here and pass the time. I still have 17 weeks left! I should say I ONLY have 17 weeks left! Wahoo! Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the way the apartment is coming, that way when we DO get her furniture it will fit nicely in the spare room. Hmmm, what else? She's kicking up storm in there! I am really excited to meet her, but I'm taking my time and enjoying it, because I know that it's going to be a wild ride once she arrives. I finalized the guest list for the baby shower--so for some reason I feel accomplished for having hunted down all of those addresses. I'm planning to take those cute maternity pictures too, but I haven't set a dat yet, I'm waiting until I get a little bigger...maybe at 7 or 8 months? I don't really know yet. As for right now I'm just waiting....Andstarting on Anna's scrapbook. I have three pages laid out so far. I'm feeling pretty productive.
