PICS, as Promised!!!

Check out this adorable Scrapbook that I found for little Anna. I'm going to start decorating the pages for her now, that way when she arrives, I can just glue in the pictures. Sorry about the hideous glare, the lighting was working against me!

And this is the Bassinet I was talking about. It's even more beautiful in person! If it looks a little rustled, that's because my cats were under it chasing each other!!

Vacation Bible School!

It's my last day to help out with VBS, and I'm exhausted! I'm so grateful that this only comes once a year because it is soooo much work! Jim helped out the first three days and then had to go back to work...so here I am. We're staying out in Katy at my parents house because it's so close to my church. Jim had to go back home Tuesday night so he could work in the morning, and it's REALLY lonely here without him!! As for baby Anna.....Jim got the bassinet down from the attic the other day and we washed and set it up...It's GORGEOUS!! I have to post a picture of it. It's one of those old ones with the hood taht has a ton of lace and ribbons. :) I'm going to take a picture of it the second I get home. I've also been going through a lot of baby girl clothes that a friend of mine gave to me. PRECIOUS!! I love this part!! Other than that, I'm finally experiencing the not so cute side effects of pregnancy---IE, leg cramps and swollen feet. EW. But all in all, I feel pretty good. I'll post another belly shot when I get home.

YAY! Another Ultrasound!

Everything looked great at the last ultrasound that I had, but Anna was facing a weird direction the tech didn't get a chance to look at her kidneys well, so my doctor is scheduling another one!! I'm so greedy-haha. I just want to see her little tiny self again! The Dr is letting me wait until after my next visit in four weeks so that Anna will be a lot bigger and so I can get some great ultrasound shots for my baby book. I'm so excited!! Aside from that, everything looked normal at my appointment yesterday. I'm itching all over from this stupid sunburn I got at the beach while Jim was out of town. I BRILLIANTLY sat in a lawn chair with my feet up and burnt the entire front of my body....I'm talking legs, arms, stomach, even my hands and feet!! The first few days were absolutely MISERABLE. I couldn't even walk (because my knee caps were burnt!) and now my entire front half is peeling. I look like a molting snake. hahaha. Life is never boring around here!

CampVanVac...

So Jim is back from his luxurious 10 day vacation at CampVanVac in Minnesota, and he brought some awesome pictures back with him, thought I would share.

Here's Lizzie and Juliana(a friend) hanging out

A gorgeous glimpse of the scenery...

She obviously takes after her father!

GROSS!!

As you know- Jim went out of town this past week..I'm "not supposed" to clean the litter box because of Toxoplasmosis, so Jim has been doing it for the past five months. So here I am, with two cats and a box full of kitty poo, so I decided I had no choice. I wish I had a camera to take a picture because it was really ridiculous what I had to do. I didn't have anything to wrap around my head, so I had to use a pair of pants...I wrapped them around my nose and mouth so I wouldn't inhale the fumes, and I put on some plastic gloves. Then I dumped the box into the trash....I scared the hell out of my cats walking around here looking like a monster! And then of course I go to refill the box and low and behold....NO CAT LITTER. What a day.

Waiting for Baby....

It's funny how this is the longest AND the shortest nine months of my life. Long because I'm DYING to meet the baby, but short because I feel like there are so many things we need to do before she gets here!
I'm making the guest list for the baby shower per my mothers instruction. Collecting all of those addresses is going to be FUN. ;) Speaking of addresses MN FAMILY!! Email me your addresses, I don't have anyones! And even though you most likely won't make it down to the actual shower, I still want to send invites and announcements when she's born. Besides, we may send out something announcing our arrival there over December 1st weekend. My email address is janettillmans@yahoo.com- Can't imagine it's too smart to post my email all over the internet, but they send me enough junk mail anyway, so what can it hurt?

Anyway, I'm getting so excited about the shower!! It's going to be the last weekend in August because my job is throwing me one in September and poor Jim isn't going to want to put all of that stuff together at once! :) I can't wait to finish/actually start the nursery, but I'm glad I have no choice, otherwise I would sit in here everyday wishing the baby was in here. haha.

It's so boring being here with Jim gone. I've watched more television in the past few days than I care to admit.

Going to The Airport....

Just dropped Jim off at the Airport! He's going to visit Lizzie and Linda and some of the family up there at the boundary waters for TEN days. Lucky lucky man. And 'm here sulking because once again, I can't go. It's starting to get to me that I've only been to Minnesota one time in the four and a half years that Jim and I have been together. I've only met maybe four members of his family... Depressing. And Poor Jim is just stuck in the middle. I NEED A VACATION. Hope I get to meet you guys soon!

:) Registering is FUN.

Well, FIRST, let me start by saying I spoke with my doctor about my Quad Screen (which is that blood test that you take to check for Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, etc) and I'm happy to report that Anna looks PERFECT!! Yay God!
So I've been hearing from a lot of people that my registry looks pitiful and that I didn't have nearly enough stuff on them-So today I made it my mission to add to both registries. I added toys, blankets, bath stuff, you name it! Now I just look greedy-haha! Before I only had practical things on there, but then my cousin pointed out that DUH, Anna isn't going to have ANY toys to play with if I don't register for them! I have no idea why I didn't even think to add receiving blankets and crib toys when I had registered for random things like diaper rash cream! haha. Good thing I'm surrounded by people that have done this before!

Our Little Acrobat Baby

This little one is hilarious, she's bouncing around in there so much, I swear she's doing jumping jacks! :) Now that we've had the Big ultrasound, I'm dying to meet her! This is going to be a long few months! Jim still can't feel her kicking from the outside, she only weighs about a pound...he should be able to feel it in the next two weeks. He's so excited. He laughs at me becuase I talk to her in the car..I figure she's pretty bored and lonely in there. :) Sooo what else is new for us? Hmm. Jim's going to see Linda and Lizzie next week! I really wish I could come up there too. He's going to tell Liz about the baby -she has a little brother, I bet she'll be so excited to have a sister too! We're getting rid of the Civic (2 door) for a 4 door Corolla. That's our first steps toward real parenthood I guess. I'm still working on the nursery, I've started making a blanket for Anna, and my mom is sewing a diaper stacker, a trashcan cover, a valance, and a few other things to match the rest of the Littl Suzy's Zoo stuff that I have. I actually started a registry at Babies R Us and Target. Well, online atleast. It's so much fun to pick out all of that pink stuff! OH, ATTENTION MINNESOTA PEOPLE: My doctor said that if Anna is nice and healthy then we can fly up there The first weekend in December! That way everyone can meet her! We're going to a wedding on the first, but Maybe we could plan something for that Sunday. Plus there are so many of you that I haven't met. I was hoping that this blog could bridge the gap between Tx and MN. :)
